πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈGuided Meditation: Kuli`ou`ou Ridge Trail Walking Meditation

Welcome back to my Guided Meditation Series! This guided walking meditation was filmed during a hike on the Kuli`ou`ou Ridge Trail on the beautiful island of Oahu in Hawaii. It is the first video of my new Guided Walking Meditation Series.

Walking meditations can help you slow down and focus on the present moment if you need to get away, take a break from work, or at the beginning, middle, or end of the day. By doing this meditation with me, you will be able to use your walking to mindfully ground yourself to earth and your surroundings, focus on your body and walking, and enjoy great relaxation in the process.

Also, you will create a physical and mental escape from the chaos of life with a focus on a sense of calm and peacefulness. In this meditation, it's best to keep your eyes open while you're walking if you're a beginner. If you are more advanced and want to focus on your walking and body sensations, you may close your eyes while walking in a safe space or contained area. Do whichever feels right and best for you. You can do this meditation anytime and anywhere - during a quick break in your workday, when you're stuck in a situation that isn't pleasant, when you wake up, right before you go to bed, and more.

During your life, you may encounter many duties and responsibilities for separate roles, such as being a boss, manager, employee, caregiver, father, mother, and more. You may encounter stressful events or hectic situations. It is easy to feel like you're stuck in a rut, with nowhere to go, or wishing you could take a break from life. Do you find yourself wishing you could be somewhere else, if even only for a brief moment? Do you find yourself speed walking, or always walking from one place to another in a hurry? Do you forget to focus on your walking sometimes? Fortunately, you can use this mindful walking meditation that incorporates mindfulness and intentional walking to focus on your walking and posture, bring your attention to something relaxing, decrease stress, and bring calm to your day. Enjoy!

Aloha,

Dr. Jen
