πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ 5-Minute Guided Breathing Meditation for Anxiety

Welcome back to my Guided Meditation Series! Can you believe these gorgeous view of Snoqualmie Falls? It's the perfect scenery to meditate to if you have anxiety.

Feel free to try this one out for yourself and see if you like it - feedback appreciated in the comments section. Mindful breathing meditations can help you really focus on the present moment if you have a tendency to worry about the future (AKA anxiety), present (AKA anxiety AND depression), or past (AKA depression). By doing this meditation with me, you will be able to use your breathing to mindfully keep your focus, despite those pesky thoughts that keep popping up in your head.

Also, you will create a mental escape from the chaos of life with a focus on a sense of calm and peacefulness. Feel free to keep your eyes open or closed throughout the meditation, whichever feels right for you. You can do this meditation anytime and anywhere - during a quick break in your workday, when you're stuck in a situation that isn't pleasant, when you wake up, right before you go to bed, and more.

During your life, you may encounter many duties and responsibilities for separate roles, such as being a boss, manager, employee, caregiver, father, mother, and more. You may encounter stressful events or hectic situations. It is easy to feel like you're stuck in a rut, with nowhere to go, or wishing you could take a break from life. Do you find yourself wishing you could be somewhere else, if even only for a brief moment? Do you forget to focus on your breathing sometimes? Fortunately, you can use this mindful breathing meditation that incorporates breathing and mindfulness to focus on your breathing, bring your attention to something relaxing, decrease stress, and bring calm to your day. Enjoy!

Aloha,

Dr. Jen
