🧘🏻‍♀️ Guided Meditation: Ocean Yoga Meditation

Welcome back to my Guided Meditation Series! This guided meditation is a little bit different from my usual style of guided meditations, but it's great to try something new every once in a while. Meditation does not always have to be concrete and tangible - it can be abstract and poetic like this meditation too. Feel free to try this one out for yourself and see if you like it - feedback appreciated in the comments section.

Guided imagery meditations can help you create a mental escape from the chaos of life with a focus on a sense of calm and peacefulness. Feel free to keep your eyes open or closed throughout the meditation, whichever feels right for you. You can do this meditation anytime and anywhere - during a quick break in your workday, when you're stuck in a situation that isn't pleasant, when you wake up, right before you go to bed, and more.

During your life, you may encounter many duties and responsibilities for separate roles, such as being a boss, manager, employee, caregiver, father, mother, and more. You may encounter stressful events or hectic situations. It is easy to feel like you're stuck in a rut, with nowhere to go, or wishing you could take a break from life. Do you find yourself wishing you could be somewhere else, if even only for a brief moment? Do you forget to focus on your breathing sometimes? Fortunately, you can use this ocean yoga meditation that incorporates breathing and visualization to focus on your breathing, daydream a bit, bring your attention to something relaxing, decrease stress, and bring calm to your day. Enjoy!

Aloha,

Dr. Jen
